Privacy Policy

Rasora Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 21, 2026

Rasora is a recipe app that lets people discover, create, save, follow, and share recipes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

Information We Collect

How We Use Information

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Rasora does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service Providers

Rasora uses Firebase and Google services for authentication, cloud database, storage, push notifications, and app infrastructure. Uploaded images may be automatically scanned by Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch to detect unsafe content as part of our safety compliance. Images flagged as unsafe may be removed and the associated account reviewed. These services are governed by Google's privacy policies.

Public Content

Recipes or profile information you mark public may be visible to other Rasora users. Private recipes are intended to be visible only to you and authorized moderators where needed for safety or support.

Data Retention

When you delete your account, your profile, private recipes, messages, saved recipes, and follow data are deleted within 30 days. Public recipes are attributed to "Deleted User" rather than removed immediately, so other users who saved them retain access — make recipes private before deleting your account if you want them removed. Certain records such as reports, moderation logs, and safety-related data may be retained longer where required for legal compliance, abuse prevention, or law enforcement purposes.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data at any time within the app. To request a copy of your data (data export) or to exercise any other privacy right, email support@myrasora.com with subject line Privacy Request and we will respond within 30 days.

EU and UK users have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability, the right to rectification, and the right to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

California Residents (CCPA)

Rasora does not sell your personal information. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information (which does not apply here as we do not sell data). To exercise these rights, contact support@myrasora.com.

Children

Rasora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account inside the app under Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. You can also follow the instructions at myrasora.com/delete-account.
